GoYolo Impact

Formalising India’s neighbourhood workforce.

Behind every home is someone keeping it running — a cook, a maid, a driver, a caregiver. GoYolo Impact is our mission-driven initiative to give India’s neighbourhood workforce a verified identity, a portable reputation, and a fair shot at better, more consistent income.

The problem

India’s invisible workforce.

Domestic and neighbourhood work is almost entirely informal — word-of-mouth referrals, cash wages, no contracts, no records. Without a formal identity, workers have little bargaining power and no recourse if something goes wrong. Families, in turn, have no reliable way to vet who they let into their homes.

Tens of millions

of neighbourhood service workers keep urban India running — domestic help, nannies, cooks, drivers and caregivers, most of them women, many of them migrants.

₹12,000–18,000/month

is what a full-time domestic worker typically earns for 7–8 hour days — often barely enough to live on.

No portable identity

means no reputation, no proof of experience, and no bargaining power — workers start from zero with every new employer.

Our approach

Trust, verified — not assumed.

We combine identity verification with a reputation that travels with every worker, so trust doesn’t have to be rebuilt from scratch with every new family.

Aadhaar-based KYC

Confirms a worker's identity is real, with their informed consent at every step.

Police verification

Adds an official background check, giving families and workers alike a legal safety net.

Portable reputation

Reviews, skills and experience build into a digital identity that moves with the worker, not the job.

Privacy by design

Minimal data retention, masked identifiers, and compliance with India's DPDP Act and UIDAI guidelines.

For workers

A verified badge that builds instant trust with new families
A reputation that travels with you, from job to job and neighbourhood to neighbourhood
Steady demand from nearby families — no cold calling, no middlemen
Access to training, financial services and insurance through our partners, over time

For families

A real, verified person — not just a listing or a phone number
Identity and police verification before anyone enters your home
Ratings and reviews from other residents in your own community
Peace of mind that comes from accountability, not just word-of-mouth

We’re building this alongside our core platform, one neighbourhood at a time.

Over time, we aim to connect verified workers with training, financial services and insurance through partnerships with NGOs, government programmes and CSR initiatives. If you represent an organisation working on livelihoods, financial inclusion or worker welfare and want to partner with us, we’d love to hear from you.
