Terms & Conditions
Last updated: August 2026
For GoYolo partners (cooks, housekeepers, drivers and other service professionals), see our Partner Terms & Conditions instead.
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and GoYolo, a product of Yolohelp Services Private Limited (“GoYolo”, “we”, “us” or “our”), governing your use of the GoYolo website (goyolo.in), the GoYolo Android app and the GoYolo iOS app (together, the “Services”) as a resident looking for household help, services or neighbourhood community features.
By creating an account, or by otherwise accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 to create a GoYolo account. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you meet these requirements.
2. Account registration
- You sign up using your mobile phone number, verified by a one-time password (OTP). You are responsible for keeping this number, and any device signed in to your account, secure.
- You may only create and use one account for your own personal use. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
- Notify us immediately at info@goyolo.in if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
- You are responsible for keeping your profile information (name, society/apartment, flat number) accurate and up to date.
3. What GoYolo is — and isn’t
GoYolo is a technology platform that helps residents discover and connect with independent service professionals (“partners”) — such as cooks, housekeepers, drivers and other household-help providers — and with their neighbours, through features like carpooling, community posts (YoloKlub), demand posts, referrals and related tools.
GoYolo is a marketplace and facilitator, not an employer, agent, or co-provider of any service booked through the platform. Partners are independent professionals or third parties, not GoYolo employees, agents or joint venturers. GoYolo does not itself cook, clean, drive, or perform any household service — the actual service is a private arrangement between you and the partner, subject to whatever partner-specific terms are shown at the time of booking.
We take reasonable steps to verify partners before they appear on the platform (see our Privacy Policy for what verification involves), but we cannot guarantee the conduct, availability, skill, or reliability of any partner, and verification is not a certification of quality for any specific job.
4. Bookings, pricing and cancellations
- Prices, availability and scheduling shown in the app are set by partners and/or GoYolo and may change from time to time; you will always be shown the applicable price before confirming a booking.
- Any platform fee, subscription (such as GoYolo Prime) or service charge will be clearly disclosed before you are charged.
- Cancellation windows and any associated charges will be shown at the time of booking; repeated late cancellations or no-shows may affect your ability to book in future.
- Payments made directly to a partner outside the app (e.g. cash) are between you and the partner; GoYolo is not a party to that transaction and cannot mediate payment disputes arising from it.
5. Community features and content you post
Features like YoloKlub posts, carpool listings, service demand posts, reviews and comments let you share content with other residents in your society or neighbourhood. By posting, you grant GoYolo a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, display, and distribute that content within the Services, solely to operate and improve the platform.
You agree not to post content that:
- Is false, defamatory, harassing, threatening, obscene, or discriminatory;
- Infringes someone else’s privacy, intellectual property, or other legal rights;
- Impersonates any person or misrepresents your affiliation with any person or entity;
- Promotes illegal activity, violence, or unsafe/unlawful services; or
- Is spam, a scam, or unrelated commercial solicitation.
You can report content or another user directly in the app. We may review, remove, or restrict access to any content or account that violates these Terms, at our discretion and without prior notice where we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect users or the Services.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law;
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, system, or data on the Services;
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the normal operation of the Services;
- Circumvent the platform to solicit partners for services outside GoYolo in a way that undermines the safety or verification protections GoYolo provides; or
- Use another person’s account, phone number, or identity without authorisation.
7. Data storage, security & DPDP compliance
Your account and profile data is stored and processed on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure via Firebase, using industry-standard security practices including encryption in transit, access controls, and restricted access to sensitive records. We process your personal data in accordance with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”) and other applicable data protection laws. Full details of what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights (including access, correction and deletion) are set out in our Privacy Policy.
You can permanently delete your account and associated data at any time from Settings → Delete account in the app, or via our Delete Account page, subject to information we are legally required to retain.
8. Intellectual property
The Services, including the GoYolo name, logo, app design, and underlying software, are owned by Yolohelp Services Private Limited and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks or branding without our prior written consent.
9. Third-party services
The Services may link to or integrate with third-party services (for example, WhatsApp, maps, or payment providers). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party services, and your use of them is subject to their own terms.
10. Disclaimers
The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GoYolo disclaims all warranties, express or implied, regarding the Services, including any warranty that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any partner will meet your expectations. GoYolo does not guarantee the identity, conduct, quality of work, or safety of any partner or resident you interact with through the Services, beyond the verification steps described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GoYolo and its officers, employees and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of the Services, any service booked through the Services, or any dispute between you and a partner or another user — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable Indian law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold GoYolo, its officers, employees and affiliates harmless from any claim, demand, loss, or damages, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Services, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
13. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account, in whole or in part, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, provided false information, posed a safety risk to other users, or misused the Services. You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time as described in Section 7. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 8, 10, 11 and 12) will continue to apply.
14. Grievance redressal
